GMAIL OUTBOX WONT SEND

This is the message I receive when trying to use my gmail accounts:

"Cannot send message using the server smtp.gmail:myaddress@gmail.com
Connections to the server “smtp.gmail.com” on the default ports timed out.

Select a different outgoing mail server from the list below or click Try Later to leave the message in your Outbox until it can be sent."

I've run connection tests over POP/IMAP ports and everything is working.

However the Norton Firewall freezes every time I try to access outgoing connection info and I have to perform a Force Quit. I believe the firewall is blocking the POP3 connection but don't know how to circumnavigate it.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi pashley

Welcome to the Norton Community

The outpoing server address should be smtp.gmail.com

Check the following atricle for how to set up gmail accounts in Outlook

Let us know if this corrected the issue for you. Thanks
