Norton for Mac

Hello there,

I have a small problem with Norton Firewall. I'm running MAC OS X 10.6.8 and I use Norton Internet Security 5. When I try to close   the lock to prevent further changes the lock opens again after few seconds, and this happens every time.

Anyone with a similar experience?

Symantec decided that the lock unlocking itself again should be a "feature," and they intentionally keep it unlocked despite confusion and complaints over the behavior.

P.S.  Symantec only supports NIS 5 on 10.7 and 10.8.  NIS 4 is compatible with 10.6.8 (however it's no longer supported or maintained, and some features no longer work).  Symantec's "official" response is for customers to upgrade their OS.
