Is Norton Security 2012 compatible for MAC?

Hello, I bought Norton Internet Security 2012 from PC world, but when I downloaded it on my MacBook Air it wasn't allowing me to open it. Is this form of internet security compatible for my MacBook Air? Thank you.

No, you need the Mac version if you're trying to install into Mac OS X. If you have Windows on it, then you can use that Windows version (2012).
