Hi,

  Will there be any patch released for the compatibilty of NCO with MAC OSX 10.6.1 or Does Symantec planning to release a compatibilty patch ????

Normally we don't comment on un-announced products, but yes we have stated before that we are working on updates to Norton Confidential, Norton Internet Security and Norton AntiVirus, available to all customers for free who have a valid subscription.

I can't comment on when that patch will be released. The Firefox antiphishing feature should function correctly, and we are recommended users temporarily use the Firefox browser until we release our compatibility update to Norton Confidential. Sorry about the wait, but Safari in 10.6 has changes significantly, and as you probably know, Safari has no public extension mechanism like Firefox has, so we have to significant work whenever Safari changes.
