I have a MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard with v11.1.2(17) NAV. I have experiened numerous crashes of the program that pops up and has options to acknowledge or reopen the program. Reading through another question somewhere I thought I saw something about the ARP Cache Poison causing this crash - I travel outside the house with the ocmputer so simply disabling that signature doesn't work for me. Is there as solution to this crashing problem? My wife is running an older version of the MacBook and doesn't have the same problem with the crashing. I am running Parallels Desktop but even when that program is closed and not running the crashes occur.
On another note my product is showing as not activated (two copies - one for each computer) even though I've downloaded the programs and run them on both computers.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
John

Here's the dump from the error report - it's crashed 3 times since the first note (today)

Are you doing anything in particular when this happens, such as scanning for viruses? I don't see any obvious issue in the log. If you have the original disk, you might try uninstall, reinstall and Live Update to see if that helps.

Thanks Lee, no, there does not seem to be any specific action when it crashes. I downloaded the program, uninstalled it and reinstalled it earlier today - it seems to be going along OK now but I never know when teh crash will happen again so I'll et you know if this fixed the problem.

Lee,
The uninstall/reinstall seemed to fix the crash issue - thanks.
On the subject of the ARP cache poison reports I tested out a solution I found on another post - my Android smartphone wifi was enabled and when I disabled it the false-positives stopped. I travel with the computer so I won't turn off the warning but will "ignore" the reports while I'm on my home network.
