Norton for Mac

I have just purchased and loaded Norton Antivirus for Mac version 11.1 and it will not update. I registered the product but when I run Live Update it is asking me to renew my subscription. When I look at my subscription status on the Status screen it is reading 2010 02 10. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.I am using Mac OS X 10.6.8.

Did you have a previous version of NAV 11.x installed before you installed 11.1?  If so, this will not extend your subscription (uninstalling the previous version also won't help).  You would need to contact customer service and return the new copy, and get a subscription renewal instead.
