I am a Mac user 10.6.8 and have had Anti Virus for several years.
When I opened AV today I was notified that it was due for renwal Mar 10th 2012 - is was purchased June 29th 2011 - from Norton
|Order Number: [Removed]|
|Date of Order: June 29, 2009|
Product Serial Number: [Removed]
so it is not due untill 15th July 2012 as on my Norton Account on line - are you just trying to get renewals every 9 month instead of the full 12 ?? .
However, before I realized the error I upgraded and bought Internet Security [ for Mac] - but this does not download as it is supposed to [ Note - when I clicked 'renew" it sent me to the Windows renwal page that I nearly bought in error ]
I have now spent about 2 hours trying to find a way to get an answer to this problem - through various automated "help" pages and eventually and e-mail that rejected my submission as it was more than 255 charatcers. This has got to be one of the most user UN-Friendly sites [ particulay for Mac user ] that I have ever come across.
I realy would appreciate someone at Norton connfirming the my AV runs to July - and therefore either returning the $44.79 I paid today for Internet Seurity [ for Mac ] or advise how ti get it to down load properly and making the expirey date 15th July 2013 to enable me to use the remainder of th AV licence..
I was about to buy a second one for my laptop - needless to say I have not done so, and will not unless someone sees fit to resolve these issues.
PS - There isa facility to add atachments - I added .jpg copies of the original order and the oder placed today - so it has now rejected sending this and I have had to remove the "attachments" as the only ones accepeted ara .txt / .log/. lue all of which could be pasted into the body anyway !!!!
