I have been using Norton Internet Security Mac edition for about 4 months now, Version 4.0, and Norton Account states that it is not activated. It doesn't seem that I can activate it. What should be done next?

Hi John
Open the Norton Antivirus Window and check the Expiration date on it. If it is not showing the correct expiration date, please contact our support from here and let them know the situation.

I use NAV 12, not NIS, on Mac 10.7.3. After your LAST maintenance update to NAV (i.e., prior to the one pushed out today), the License item in NAV stopped showing the expiration date. It simply shows "Activated". Is this not correct?
As far as I can tell, NAV is working properly. It still just shows "Activated" for License after the softare update you pushed out today.

Hi Bob
The previous post was regarding the Norton Internet Security Version 4 (Snow Leopard Compatible). And regarding the latest versions like Norton Antivirus12 and Norton Internet Security5 the Antivirus module window should show the Subscription days remaining. Below are the Pictures for your Clarification. And John, I forgot to ask you the version of your MAC OSx.

Sorry about not spotting that the original poster was using NIS 4. Yes, I'm using NAV 12.
My Norton Antivirus window is formatted quite a bit different from what you included as the 2nd image in your post. Unfortunately I can't figure out how to get the forum to let me include an image as you did. So I'll just have to describe it.
First the data lines are left justified under the headings, e.g., "Last Virus Scan Performed" is left justtified under the S of "Statistics".
Second, the line "Days left in subscription" in yours shows as "License Status" in mine, and the value shown is "Activated". No indication of number of days left.
That change to just showing "Activated" happened with your software update for NAV 12 that happened PRIOR to the one you guys pushed today. That was the software update which included the fix for Automatic Virus Protection sometimes shutting down unexpectedly, or not starting up in the first place.

It does show the correct expiry date. I still show it is not activated. What next?
