It's generally better to do a fresh install on the new computer, as opposed to transferring NAV. If you do transfer it, there is a tool you will need in order to update the licensing info correctly, let me know if you need that.

You should not need to purchase it, but if you don't have the original installer, you may need to contact Customer Support with info about where and when you bought the product. In this case a transfer may be easier, I'll reply again shortly with info about the key migration utility.

Here's the location of the tool. Download and run it per instructions on this page, AFTER you have used Apple's migration to move NAV to the new computer.

Let me know if this causes any problems with NAV.

Hi, thanks for the information but that didn't fix the problem. I get a message when i try to run Live Update saying there are pieces misssing from LiveUpdate and to try reinstalling it.

You can get the latest installer for LiveUpdate here:

If that doesn't help, you may need to contact Customer Support to recover an installer for the entire product.

I'm having a problem now with Live Update. I scheduled it to run every day at 9am and it never runs.
Thanks for your help.

Are you seeing any errors, or just no activity? Is there anything about updates under 'View recent activities..." in the NAV application?
