iMac Norton 360 kernel problem

I installed Norton 360 Everywhere yesterday on my iMac (running OSX Lion).  It's seems to be fine on the Windows side of things (Windows 7), but the Mac side gives me the message: AntiVirus Auto-Protect could not load the kernel extension.

I've tried reinstalling it as well as using Live Update.  Still getting the same message.  I'm a little frustrated.  Anyone else run into the same problem, and know how to fix it?

Re: iMac Norton 360 kernel problem

What version of install Norton Internet Security did you install, 4.0 or 5.0?  It sounds like you may be running 4.0, which is not compatible with Lion.

It's version 5.0.  I just bought and downloaded it from the Norton site a few days ago.

Re: iMac Norton 360 kernel problem

Thanks, in that case it's definitely something unusual.  Can you follow the instructions here to gather some info for us?  I'll send you a private message about where you can send it.
