1) read the post on e-mail support, I tried the link listed,I have a problem with Partion Magic, however the is a problem with the
enu for e-mail menu under products Partition Magic is not listed. I tried chat. It went through it did not like Firefox. I switched to IE 6
this time it went all the way though then IE 6 encountered a problem and had to restart.
my suggestion is 1) support Firefox browser 2) update the E-mail menu for products to include Partition Magic
2) My problem
I have Partition Magic 8.0 Installed. I am running Windows98SE. The other day my system crashed as it was rebooting
Scanreg found an error in my registrey and restored "using a backup". When the system came backup the desktop icon
for Partition Magic Was gone. I checked in Program FIles the Symantec folder with Partion Magic was still there.
I figured the best way to get the icon back was to reinstall it. I went to Control Panel/Add/Remove Programs. Partition Magic
wasn't there. I tried reinstalling it from CD-ROM got half way thru and it said something like "install failed"
when I go to start menu->programs->Norton Partition Magic 8.0->Norton Partition Magic 8.0 and click on it I get
"the object that 'c:\windows\desktop\Norton Partition Magic 8.0.ink' refers to has been mover or is unacessable"
How do I uninstall Partition Magic so I can reinstall it.

I apologize that the Norton Removal Tool did not work. It might be a better option to visit our Customer Support site to contact our team:

This will probably be the best option to find the precise tool for removing Partition Magic. Thanks!
