Can "Safe Web" handle address redirection?

[ Edited ]

Norton Safe Web is unable to verify the safety of my website, "WallWatcher.com", possibly because the Registrar for that name does not host my website, but just redirects all accesses to "WallWatcher1.com", which Norton Safe Web *DOES* verify as safe.

I've followed the instructions for placing a file at the website (that is, at WallWatcher1.com), and have placed the meta string in the home page.  When I click on the verification link in the email sent to me by Safe Web, it successfully shows that file.

Since it is not possible for me to modify the "redirect", is there some other way for Symantec to verify the safety of "WallWatcher.com"?  Can the known safety of "WallWatcher1.com" be used as a surrogate?

Thanks,

Dan

Hi Dan T seng,

It looks like your website and the redirected website both are rated safe by norton.

See the links below

http://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=WallWatcher1.com&x=3&y=6

Ah, it's status has changed from gray to green.  Thank you for letting me know.
