I removed my old laptop from my Norton Management account. When I click the button to add a new device (my new replacement laptop), I get a screen asking if I am on the device I want to add. I click yes. When I do, Norton downloads a file "mAgentDownloader.exe," which appears to install correctly each time. However, that is the end of it. There is nothing else to allow going ahead with adding my new laptop. I have been trough this routine 5 or 6 times now.

Problem finally solved through trial and error. I had to sign off of Norton Management and then log back on to make it work. (Saw no clue this was necessary in any instructions--something that needs to be remedied.
