I've been using this to "move" apps out of my C: drive that I wanted on another partition. Apps that wouldn't install to a non C: drive.

Have you seen this one http://mobasoftware.com/symmover_help.php?section=
Does junction include
First, choose the correct prefix. Mklink can create several types of links, including the following:

Haven't seen that and it looks slightly different to junction.exe.
You can see the junction points in your C: drive with this from a command line...
dir c:\*.* /al /s > juncpnts.txt
The junction points I create look no different from the Microsoft ones.
I first became interested in this because the kids had that terrible app iTunes on their computers with several GB of their favourite "crap" sitting in the C: drive. I like the C: drive to be lean and mean so the backup images are small. Junction.exe allowed me to shift the iTunes "crap" to a data partition.
Garmin Mapsource does the same thing with its maps. So I shifted the maps to a data drive.
I don't think the explanation on the junction.exe page is very clear. Let me know if you are having trouble with it.

Hi Brian
I have the same issue I have a WHS and tried and tried to run iTunes from it but it was dire.MY work round which seems ok is to have the data on my WHS but my itunes file library .itl file on my desktop seems to run great now.
My main issue is I have 400gb of photos (phtographer) and use Lightroom but it does not allow its files to be run on a network.
We have a few of us would like to access LR catalogues from a Network but it does not like it. Was looking for a solution but I gather LR knows about symbolic links ???

Delete one partition at a time. Select the partition, click Delete, put a tick in Clear Boot Sector, Yes.
When the partitions have been deleted you can click Create and do your thing.
Edit... If you mouse doesn't work...
