I have the Comcast Norton Security Suite. Ever since I installed it I can't connect to my works VPN. I made sure I had the latest updates and I even disabled the firewall. I have seen many others post similar problems but no working solution was given. I hope someone can help. Thanks.

Is this a new install of NSS? It may be that you need to uninstall and reinstall your VPN software. I'm running a VPN connetion to my office with the default settings in NIS. Once I got them playing well together I've experienced no problems doing the updates.

This is a new install of NSS. Before I had Avast which has been uninstalled. This is the built in Windows 7 VPN client so I don't believe there is really any way to uninstall and reinstall it.

Hi,
Does avast have a removal tool? If so did you use that to remove all of the bits and bytes of that program before installing NSS? If there iss a tool and you didn't use it you need to use it and then uninstall NSS and reinstall it. Security programs do not play well together and any leftovers can be a serious prolblem
