You are free to go on your merry way. You are now fixed / Solved.
If you want Malwarebytes download the Free version to install and don't click the Trial button
If you want to, you can turn off System Restore wait for it to clear the Restore Points and then Turn it back on once you find all is happy. today, tomorrow whenever.

Hey Quads, I just noticed today that after all these repairs we made that I am unable to open any components of my microsoft home and student 2010. Every time I try to open one of its components ex:microsoft office 2010 it gives me 2 error boxes. The 1st one saying: The setup controller has encountered a problem during install. Please review the log files for further information and the 2nd one says: Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010 cannot verify the license for this application. A repair attempt failed or was canceled by the user. The application will now shut down.
I find this weird b/c in the second message it says Microsoft home and business 2010 but, I have Home and Student 2010. Also the installation date listed in my programs list for my Office Home and Student is 7/13/12, around the date of when my computer was having problems. I have tried uninstalling and repairing it via thecontrol panel programs list but, It would not allow me to do both.
Any advice on situation?

Mines was pre-installed with ms office but I do have the product activation key so I believe I can download the trial version then activate with my product key but, I am not sure whether it requires you to uninstall what I already have.
