Does this sound like a hack or a myspace problem?

Norton Security Suite

Malwarebytes Pro

Anyway I rarely check my myspace account.  This month I checked it twice so far but I usually let it go for months.  I checked it on the 9th.  Everything was good.  I check it about two hours ago or well tried to check it and I could not access my account.  I put my e-mail address to get my account back and couldn't.  It said I had no account in the system even though I know what e-mail address I used to sign up for myspace.  Anyway I came down and took a shower thinking you know what am I going to do.  After the shower I came and tried it again and it worked.  My profile was not private, but when I clicked on it during this time when I couldn't access it from my friend's account, because I have no idea what my signup number is it was private so I just clicked on a comment of mine and saw my myspace.  But then I came back up to the computer room and signed in and everything was back to normal I could sign in and my account was no longer private.

I did change my password just in case.  So a myspace error or a hacker?  Thank you.

Michelle,

Before trying to sort out the myspace thing I need to know if you have the active scanner of Malwarebytes running along with NSS. If you do there is a conflict and that may be the base cause of all the other 'interesting' results.

Looking forward to your response

Yes, it is the paid version and it is running along side Norton Security Suite,

Hi,

Two active, real-time scanners cannot occupy the same system at the same time. The least problem is reduced security. The worst problem is no protection and system locks/crashes. Please disable the Malwarebytes realtime scanner, reboot and verify that everything is working as expected. To be positive that only one realtime scanner is present uninstall the Malwarebytes product, reboot and verify that all of the files have been deleted. Here's where to find the removal tools for cleaning out that program: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-clean.exe You can install the free version of their scanner found here:

http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free it is Norton compatible and makes a great second opinion scanner. I use it regularly.

Hope this helps

I haven't had any problems so I am keeping my setup the way it is.  Norton doesn't recommend running them both at the same time, but Malwarebytes have no problems with it.  They say you can run them together.

Hi,

It is your system and it is your choice. Just be aware that we have read reports of conflicts. The fact that two programs are trying to do the same thing at the same time can lead to reduced protection or none at all.

We'll be here when you need us. Til then
