Hello,
I am encountering the same error as described in this post: http://community.norton.com/t5/Other-Norton-Produc
The apperent solution is to use Ghost 14 SRD, also described in the same post. It says to contact forum member Eric_Carlstrom for a link to the Ghost 14 SRD, which does not have this bug.
The post is more than two years old. Is there a way to still aquire Ghost 14 SRD?

However, as that post is 2 years old try this: Download the recovery disk for Symantec System Recovery 2011. It will restore Ghost 15 image files. Right-mouse click on your START button, and select OPEN WINDOWS EXPLORER. When it opens, copy and paste this into the address bar: ftp://usoruser11:d0wnl0&d@supportftp.symantec

I'm having the same problems with the "please insert the recovery disk" error.
I would like to try the workaround with SSR 2011 but if i want to access the ftp i need a password?
Could you provide me the necessary infos?
