When I try to copy drive-to-drive (C: to J:), I get the following erros messages:

-Error EC8F17B3: Cannot complete copying of  (C:\) drive.
--Cannot copy source drive to destination location.
---Error E7C3001F: Volume '\\?\Volume{a73635d2-ff86-11dd-9881-001aa09cb795}\' cannot be dismounted.
---Cannot copy source drive to destination location.

What do I have to do?

...regarding copying into unallocated space rather than into a partition. But I'm not sure that explains your error messages. Try it and get back to us.
