The \\server\ has two drives, so the drive letter IS important otherwise the restore wouldn't know which drive to look at.

No, you don't need a drive letter. The share name is enough.

Let's say the remote computername is blackbox.
Let's say it has 3 HDs and the path to the v2i is
G:\green\blue\yellow\pink\backup.v2i
Then you would use...
\\blackbox\pink
(pink would have to already be shared)

I'll check this out tomorrow afternoon. By the way, I don't think that I have access to the command prompt when I boot from the Ghost v15 CD and use its operating system. The only thing I see is the Ghost software come up.

In the same example as above, if the shared folder was blue instead of pink, you would use...
\\blackbox\blue
You don't need to use a command prompt for my instructions.

With no command prompt, how do I get to the IPCONFIG utility to check the network?

You don't need to check the network, sorry about that I jumped the gun.
You were just using the wrong path.

Ok. I'll try a different path this afternoon. However, as I recall I've already attempted several iterations of the network path and none of them worked. Also, as I mentioned yesterday, if I repeat the "Start My Network Services" I get a message that says that the services have already been started, followed by another message that tells me that the "Network Card" cannot be found. I have a feeling that this is the real problem.

Dave,
I have to say that you've gone the extra mile in trying to help me resolve this issue.
However, after two days of attempts I have decided to return the product to Norton for refund.
It simply will not work as advertised.
Again, thanks for the help.
Regards,
Roy
