I have a SRD that hangs during the "Starting Windows" screen. It just keeps moving the green blocks across screen. I have Windows 7 x64. When I first got the machine, it worked, but now it will not finish booting. I had to start using Acronis True Image to backup machine as I can not use Ghost. Any help please.

OK, I went back to my old Ghost 14 SRD, and I can get it to boot up and see my drives and Ghost 15 images. I did not use them as I am not sure about compatibility issues between booting with a Ghost 14 SRD and Ghost 15 images. I created the Ghost 14 SRD the same way as the 15 disk, and like I said this disk did work early on. Any ideas now.

I have already built a new Ghost 15 SRD 3 times using the information in this post, and it still fails to boot up.

Yes. I tried that option and the Windows 7 x64 disk booted just fine. Also, I did say that the Ghost 14 disk also booted up fine, but I am not sure if it can read correctly the Ghost 15 images.

Load the Ghost 14 SRD and verify an image (recovery point) that you made with Ghost 15. I think you will be fine as a few other people have been given the Ghost 14 SRD ISO when they had trouble with the Ghost 15 SRD.
You could also try to make a Ghost 15 SRD based on Win PE 3.0.

Have you tried booting the recovery disk before making any changes?

Regardless of what your system is running, the Ghost 15 recovery disk is based on 32 bit Vista.
It will not be able to use 64bit drivers.
Where you say it's getting stuck, when windows is showing the green progress indicator is where windows is detecting the devices on your system. Thats why I suggested you try unplugging all your usb devices and printer.
I realize that the Ghost 14 disk is working, I suggested that so you could rule out any of these devices as causing the problem since you said yourself the Ghost 15 disk used to work.
