ok so based on the fact that I could see the triangle you know that the history was not deleted properly...ok I wil not ask how that works ;)
What do you mean with NRT?
will do this action then tomorrow evening, it's already night here, thanks so far!

The NRT is the "Norton Removal Tool" that can be downloaded from here http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_ty
This tool will take out any other Norton products installed on the machine so make sure you have the installation disks.
One way or the other all history has to be cleared for the incrementals to work.
see you tomorrow.

Go back a page and look at message #18.
You may not have been able to see that screenshot because they have to be approved first.

flemming,
Before you use the NRT carry out the following first bitte ![]()
Check and make sure that all history is cleared by running through the instructions that Red posted in message 10.
Open "Run or manage backups" cancel the "easy setup" screen, then go to "Advanced" tab and check that "Backup Jobs" and "Backup History" are clear. If all is well carry out the following steps:-
1.Open Ghost on the "Home" screen
2.Select "Run or Manage Backups"
3.Cancel "Easy Setup" screen again.
4.Click on "Define New" this is the New backup job that you want to start your incremental backups.
5.Click "Next" and then work through the settings.
6.Don't forget to setup your new schedules.
In the next post I will show a series of screens that you should see when you carry out the instructions above.

flemming,
just one small point, don't forget to untick "backup My Documents" because you don't want that running with "Backup My Computer".

Hi flemming,
Did you see the screen shots that I posted showing the steps that you need to take because I have run it through on my multi boot machine and Ghost works ok.
Do you mean then that you ran the NRT (Norton Removal Tool) and it still didn't clear all the history.
Could you post your screen shots of each step you take as I did on Tuesday, follow the instructions to the letter because I can assure you that by clearing all the history and the schedule it does work ok.
