Good Morning!
I am definiety computer illeterate and need some help, it took me 10 minutes just to figure out how to post a message
I am a comcast customer so all my anti-virus is now Norton Security Suite. I thought I had everything set up correctly, but when looking at everything, I see that the Performance Monitoring is turned OFF, I tried to turn it on but it won't stay on. I then tried to launch the web solutions and it won't connect me. Can anyone help me IN OLD LADY ENGLISH! I would truly appreciate it!

Hi acoba007,
Thanks for your post. I'm sorry that you are experiencing difficulty with the Norton Security Suite program. May I ask, are you upgrading from any other Norton program or do you have any other antivirus program installed? Old Norton files or a competing product might be conflicting.
Here are some steps I'd try:
1. Look for any other antivirus program on the computer and uninstall it
2. Uninstall Norton Security Suite
3. Download and run the Norton Removal Tool from www.symantec.com/nrt
4. Restart your computer
5. Redownload the Norton Security Suite program and reinstall
Please let us know if you require any further assistance or if these steps were at all helpful. I wish you well!

If you have any problems getting the download, the folks at the Comcast Support Forums are also very helpful.

Hi acoba007,
I will wait until you respond to Rick_V's post to jump in with suggestions.
I am very curious if you in fact downloaded Constant Guard Protective Suite and also Norton Security Suite as part of that download, or if you downloaded NSS by itself and how long ago.
BTW, I speak excellent OLD LADY ENGLISH! ![]()
Since delphinium mentioned it - I also assist on the Comcast Forums as USAF_E-8_RET (user name), so if you desire, we can leave your post here and I'll continue to help you here.

@ aravindan,
You did a good job of copy and paste from a previous post and also provided some info on the procedure, but since we do not know exactly what acoba007 has installed (NSS only or CGPS & NSS) there is no need in providing more info that will probably confuse her.
Instead of all the trouble you went to why not just have her watch the video on the Comcast download page?www.xfinity.com/norton
Also there are complete basic instructions for 3 different scenarios concerning NSS on the Comcast FAQ's located here:
Just passing this info on trying to help you. ![]()
