First time I've been infected with a virus. Used Norton Power Eraser and now the computer will not reboot. Trying to use Norton Bootable Recovery Tool but can't get the laptop to start from the CD that is in the drive. How do I do that? Using Windows 7.

Hi PatMoore21,
In order to start the Laptop with the CD/DVD we need to change the first boot device of the laptop to CD/DVD from the BIOS of the PC.
To access the BIOS the key combinations change from PC manufacturer to manufacturer.
If in case when you start the PC and you notice any information asking to press any button (Key) to access the setup you can use that button and once you access the Setup the First boot will be available under Boot sequence or Advanced setup.
If you can kindly get back to us with your PC details like Make and Model name so that We can provide you with the Model specific instructions.
Assuming you have already created the Norton Bootable Recovery Tool (CD/DVD)

Yes, we have already created a Norton Bootable Recovery Tool CD on another computer.
The infected laptop is a Dell Inspiron N4010.
