How do you read firewall log files with Norton security suite

How do you read firewall log files when Norton Security suite is installed?

And or why did my modem barf when Norton updated?

Microsoft used to have a notepad readable formatted file.  with more than just UDP drops.

Other firewalls had crappy *.exe files that would read their needlessly encrypted records,   But No sign of those

The logs created by norton can not be read via notepad. You can read them this way:

    1. Open NSS main window

    2. Click on Tasks

    3. Click on View Security History

    4. On the new window you can select only the firewall history, and clicking on details you can read the full logs

After step 3 you can export the logs as a txt too, just click on the Export button on the bottom of the window.

    Let us know the results.
