Other Norton Products

Hello,

We are considering taking advantage of the free Norton Security Suite from Comcast.

Do we need to install it individually on each workstation?  Or is it a server product that gets installed on the server and pushed to the workstations?

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

First question - are you a residential subscriber or a Business Class Subscriber? 

If a residential customer Norton Security Suite needs to be installed on each workstation (max of 7 installs)

If you are a Business Class Subscriber you can obtain all the info your need here:

http://business.comcast.com/smb/services/Internet/security

I am not that familiar with the Business Class version of NSS, other than knowing it is availabel fro up to 25 installs.

Hello and Welcome to Norton Forums.

Norton security Suite provided by Comcast is a client based application. It has to be indiviually installed on all the computers.m So you have to install it indiviually on each and every computer. Also they might have a user limit check with them to confirm the number of computer you ca install it on.

We are a Comcast Business Class customer and we have 17 workstations on our network, but it does not seem like a practical, cost effective solution to install on every workstation.
