I am a comcast customer and installed Norton security suite.
Lately when I play yahoo games (Dominoes) it will kick me off right in the middle of the game.
Is this related to Norton? Maybe a firewall or something.
This has only happened since I installed Norton.
I cannot think of anything else in my computer that is doing this.
I am able to get onto the game website and open a game and start playing, so I know its not a pop up blocker.
I use Mozilla Firefox 3.6.8
Thank You for any help, it's appreciated. ![]()

Hi Steeve799,
Welcome to Norton Community!
I think, the port number: 11999 is to be opened in the firewall for communicating with the yahoo game servers. To confirm whether the problem is caused by Norton or not, try the following:
- Disable Firewall from Norton Security Suite for temporary purpose.
- Try to play the online game.
- If the problem does not occur, you can try to create a rule in firewall to allow communications with the yahoo game servers via port number:11999 (Contact Yahoo to get information about the IP Address of the game servers, you need it for creating the rule). Refer to the instructions from the following Symantec article for creating a rule:
http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/kb/web_view
- If the problem persists even after disabling the firewall, it cannot be the firewall which is blocking your games.

Hello sleeve799
Welcome to the Norton Community Forum
If you visit this site, there are listed the requirements for Dominos to work with Yahoo Games. Among the requirements are having the latest Java, and Adobe Flash Player and other requirements also. Please check to see if you have done what is recommended in this site.
