I told my Norton Antivirus 2008  to NOT block a bad version of svchost.exe. How do I change it back to block??

On the Main window of Norton Protection Center, click Options > Norton AntiVirus > Exclusions. Find the location where you excluded svchost.exe and remove it from the exclude list. Please let me know if I have misunderstood your question, or it doesn't appear in your exclusions lists. Thanks!
