If you bought the program on a CD from a retailer, the recovery disk and the install disk are the same.
Put the CD into your CD drawer and restart your computer. Choose to boot from the CD. The recovery environment will boot. It works great. Even my Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse work.
If you downloaded NSR, I don't know what to tell you.

I purchased Save and Restore 2.0 this morning and I do not have a link to download the recovery disk. How do I get the recovery disk?
As BrandonFL asks -- did you buy it retail as a physical CD or did you download it?
Here's a link to the Norton Document for creating the Recovery Disk just for your records.
It tells you how to do it from a purchased CD, as BrandlonFL says and it tells you how to go about making it if you have the downloaded version but ....
If you have purchased the download version of the product, download the Symantec Recovery Disk image file and create a Symantec Recovery Disk.
not where to get it from -- check to see if it comes up when you begin the procedure as they say -- if there is a link in a menu or on screen while I look around or someone from Norton jumps in and says where the download link is.
Looks like this document on the Norton site includes a link to the Recovery DIsk ISO file you need:
Installing Norton Save & Restore that was downloaded from the Symantec Store
but unfortunately again it only indicates that you should have downloaded it when you downloaded the original installation file.
