Under the logs associated with NAV2008 (Connection, activity, alerts, etc) I noticed that under the activity log there was the following reading
"an instance of c:\Windows\system32\SearchFilterHost.exe is preparing to access the internet"
TWO Questions
1. anyone know what "searchfilterhost.exe is?
I know that I recently had some new Windows downloads and Windows KB940157 was something to do with
Windows Search filter 4.0
2. When the activity log reads "an instance of.......is preparing to access the internet", does that necessarily mean that it IS accessing the internet? Or merely attempting? What I read about this particular searchfilterhost.exe indiacted that it could not acess on its own
