Norton Bootable Recovery Tool

I've just installed and run the above program and prepared my bootable disk (thanks, by the way).  Simple question - can I now remove the program, as I'm short on space in my programms partition?

Thank,

Ian

Re: Norton Bootable Recovery Tool

  Hello iancol.

Yes you can remove it to save space, I think it is just an executable file and so no uninstall needed.

You can always download it again from the link below:

Let me know how it goes.

Re: Norton Bootable Recovery Tool

Even though it comes as a single file, it creates a program folder that is about 230MB in size.

You can uninstall the program through the control panel to remove all the files and reclaim that space.

The bootable CD will still work on that system and you can always run the tool again to recreate all those files and make a new disk.

Re: Norton Bootable Recovery Tool

Hi,

Thanks for the additional information.  I did install via the Windows control panel and it initiated the Norton uninstall screen.  All went fine.
