Norton Comcast: Block/Access to Internet Feature

[ Edited ]

I have also posted this in the New Idea Forum:

In past versions of Norton  I could click on the Norton Icon and block inbound and outbound access to the Internet (and in McAfee thru Comcast on the M icon).  Now I have to access the Norton Suite and go into the Firewall everytime I leave my computer .  If there is another shortcut way to do this, I cannot find it (and I can't even minimize this page to get back to it when I want to unblock/block the feature) .  Please put this  easy, accessible feature back, or tell me how to find it.  If you put it back, another thing I liked about the old feature: when internet access was blocked, the N (for Norton, of course) had an X thru it.   I really liked that......PLEASE PUT IT BACK (or tell me how to find it)!

Thank you

kathyjoe

Hi Kathyjoe,

Go to Settings > Firewall. Under Firewall General Settings, click near Block All Network Traffic (status will change to Blocked). You can post your suggestion regarding this feature in the Norton 360 Ideas board.

Re: Norton 360 for Comcast: Block/Access to Internet Feature

Yogesh:  Thank you for your reply.  However, if you read my post, I indicated that I already knew how to block thru the procedure you mentioned.   I am looking for a shortcut.  The current way to block does not solve my "problem" --it is very tedious.   Thanks again, but I am looking for a different solution.   Have a good day.
