After I had installed CNSS V4 on my computer a week or two later the update to 4.1 was sent to my computer via live update. I know because that day I checked to see what the updates were rigt after an update. The program never told me to reboot the computer. I checked and saw version 4.0. So I rebooted the computer and then checked and I had version 4.1. This hapened on a desktop and a laptop. When Comcast customers get the upgrade to ver 4.2 will the program tell us to reboot, or is there a flaw in the update process. Also is there a way to see the history of the past live updates so we can see if something like this happens again.
Thank You

HI corgi11
When a Norton product is updated in that way it normally will give an indication that it requires a restart if you did a liveupdate. I think you should await a definitive answer from your post on the Comcast Forums as to how they expect to handle such a situation.

When Live Update runs silently and pulls down the update itself, it will not immediately alert you that a reboot is required, it will simply be waiting for the next reboot to perform the update. The next time you reboot your system it will apply the patch, until then you will remain on the old code.
If you manually run Live Update, it will alert you that a reboot is required for the update to complete (see screenshot below).
The 4.2 update is not available for NSS/NBS yet, but will be soon. It will behave the same way.
