Norton ConnectSafe is not working!

Hello

I configured my Windows XP to use the following settings:

Preferred DNS:198.153.192.50
Alternate DNS:198.153.194.50

But, when i open http://setup.nortondns.com/ , i get a page which says that " Your computer is not currently using Norton DNS."

I am on Windows XP SP3 and followed all the instructions which was on this page - https://dns.norton.com/dnsweb/huConfigurePc.do

Also, i tried restarting my PC, but for no avail.

Could anyone please provide a solution, as to how to make Norton DNS work?

Are you using a router? If you entered the DNS addresses in the computer, make sure your Windows DNS selection is not "Obtain DNS server addresses automatically."

Ahh! Sorry to bother!!

Actually, i was checking the verification page from Comodo Dragon browser.

While installing this browser, i chose the option to use Comodo DNS in "Comodo Dragon only" option.

I tested Norton DNS in other browsers and it is working fine.

My stupidity!!

Please forgive me but you have used an incorrect term here

Stupid can't be cured. You obviously do not suffer from that problem
