Is it possible to run the newest version of Norton Disk Doctor from a Bart's PE bootable CD? I have used a previous version of Disk Doctor that could be run from the Systemworks CD and copied it over to my Bart's PE CD without having to create a plugin for it to work. With the latest version I tried with the files contained in the installation folder named Norton Utilities, however, when I try to run Disk Doctor in the Bart PE environment I get an installation fault error? Am I missing a crucial file or a registry entry?
If I just copy the installation folder Norton Utilities into VMWare with XP installed it won't run either, however, if I create an empty file called NDD32.nt it works! This method doesn't work in Bart's PE.
Any help would be appreciated.
P.S. My Bart's PE CD is for rescuing my system only if it ever comes to that.

Thanks Erik,
This is not a major issue, I'm just annoyed I cannot see the solution. These are the files in the Norton Utilities folder if only Disk Doctor is installed:
IraVcObj.dll, MDScan.dll, N32DLIST.dll, Ndd32.exe, NDDENG.dll, NDDENGNT.dll, NUAbout.dll, NUINTRO.dll, nulive.dll, NUMisc.dll, Nusplash.dll, RScan.dll, SYMCOM.DLL, SYMDbg.dll, SYMFAT.DLL, SYMGUI.DLL, SYMKRNL.DLL, SYMMAIL.DLL, SYMMIGR8.dll, SYMNPT.DLL, SYMstat.DLL, SYMUTIL.DLL.
There is no NDD32.HLP.
As I said, if I create a dummy NDD32.nt it works in a WinXP system where Systemworks is not installed, but not in a BartPE environment.
I compared the output from Dependency Walker for the old and new versions of Norton Disk Doctor and all the necessary system files are present in the system32 folder of my BartPE CD. I've even used InstallRite to see what files were installed in other folders, but most of them seem LiveUpdate related.
Many thanks anyway.
