What are the maximum read and write speeds. As Red surmised, it could be in USB 1.1 mode.

I ran the USB tests a different way. Their fine. I uninstalled Ghost and reinstalled and everything is fine now. Typical for a Norton product to have uninstall and reinstall to fix things.
