I am trying to backup my laptop so I can replace the hard drive, only I keep getting the following error message:
Error EC8F17B7: Cannot create recovery points for job: My Computer Backup.
Error E7C3000F: Device \\?\SymantecSnapshot0 cannot read 12288 sectors starting at LBA 424630512.
Error EBAB03F1: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.
Error E7C3000F: Device %1 cannot read %3 sectors starting at LBA %2.
Any ideas?

Hi Pippachalk,
If you could post a pic of disk management, right click on computer icon, manage and disk management and take a snap shot with the snipping tool, then post using this icon
That will enable us to have a look at the drive layout, also could you please give us a bit more info as to what steps you are taking to backup the laptop.

Sounds like you drive is failing? Is that why you are replacing it? Try running CHKDSK /R from a command prompt. You can also try to use Ghost's option to ignore bad sectors.
