I have norton ghosts and checked my back up drive 2TB and it is almost full. I looked at all the files and they are all the past back ups. Do I need to do something in my settings???????

Hi,
Ghost will continue to save backups for as long as there is room on the drive - depending on your configuration of the program. It will also erase/delete the previous month's backup just as soon as it has made a new monthly full backup. Several options are available for variations in between.
If you can tell us a bit more about your system and what you would like it to do then I think we can suggest how to get that result. Til then
stay well and surf safe

ok I have a HP with win7 64 bit. I am trying to back up my files, DOC, PIC Videos so if I have a crash I do not loose them. I got Norton Ghost about 3 mos ago and thought I did the set up correct. On my backup drive I have norton backup folder with the following files.
PC-c drive 1
PC-c drive 2
PC-c drive 2-001
PC-c drive 2
PC-c drive 3
PC-c drive 3
PC-c drive 3 001
etc up to 6
then System
Brian-PC_SYSTEM0-1_Drive001
then keeps going to
Brian-PC_SYSTEM0-1_Drive006
I never do see my backup files.
Also norton says at risk
no recovery poing
says to run define backup wizard then run backup
At a lost with this, thought it would be easy.
Thanks for the help.

Please set your Folder Options to remove the tick from "Hide extensions for known file types" and post the filenames again.

all the files I listed were system image files, I could not find where to click hide.

It is in Folder Options, View tab.

In Windows Explorer, not Ghost. Why does Microsoft insist on setting up Windows Explorer to hide the file extensions? How dumb.

Open a command prompt and type DIR /B *.*. Then you can copy and paste from there.
