Will there be a "trial version" of Norton One? What's it's release date?

Trialware for Norton One will not be part of the first release.

Since Norton One is just a means of purchasing Norton Internet Security/Norton 360 for various platforms, you can always download trialware for Norton Internet Security or Norton 360 (on Windows). However the trialware products are not part of Norton One and will have to be uninstalled if you use Norton One.

I'm not in product marketing so I can't say anything definitive. However, this is on the front page of the Norton One web site:

"Norton One membership will be available starting April 4, 2012 in the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand."

If you are in a non-English speaking country, you cannot use Norton One as that product is English only at this time. However, Norton 360 Everywhere, also to be released in April, will be localized for European languages + English.
