I don't see this problem on my XP IE8 box. IE shouldn't have any interaction with the NPRB. Unerase doesn't rely on any HTML or IE scripting.

We do testing to ensure that the product is compatible. I have not noticed issues on my box with IE 8 installed and our product moved away from being dependant on IE.

Hi Erik
Any updates yet about my recycle bin problem? I thought it was fixed since after one reboot a few days ago, it started up ok, but then the next bootup, I had the same problem again.

I thought my recycle bin problem had been fixed without me being told. It was working for a few days this time. We lost electricity for about a minute or two here and my modem and computer shut down. I started everything back up again and all was working fine. The recycle bin started up like it should. This was around 2:05 PM approximately. I rebooted around 4:30 and the problem was back again. Don't know what happened in those 2 1/2 hours to have caused it to stop working again. I thought maybe it might have something to do with my ip changing, but it worked fine after we had lost power. It's just so frustrating to have a problem like this and I guess that Symantec don't know what's causing it since it's been so long without any responses back or any solutions. I guess I will have to continue living with this problem until maybe the next System Works or whatever. It's just a pain to have to start it manually every time I reboot and then I miss the files showing up from the reboot until the time it takes me to manually start it up again..... I think it must have been about a week that it was working ok. This has happened before, like it would fix itself for a while and then it starts all over again. Now I guess I will have to wait months for it to work again as it should.
Don't know if some new file was d/led by symantec that changed something or what during that 2 1/2 hour period of time.
