Hi

 

   Why did I get a survey and an email saying my problem was fixed as of 6/26/09 when my problem is still ongoing? It's supposedly still being looked into by the development team. I just got a pm about that yesterday and it said they were stll looking into the matter?? I don't get it???

My son did a repair of xp pro today and we did all the window updates and I still have the NPROTECT.EXE problem with the service looking like it's working, but the recycle bin doesn't show anything until I stop and start the service again. I thought it might have been fixed, but by the time all the reboots were done, the problem was still there. Still running xp pro with sp 3 and IE 7. Don't know why I got that survey, but this problem isn't fixed yet.

Have you tried giving permissions to the NPROTECT folder ??

Permissions  for the NPROTECT folder.

 

you could try that doing in Safe Mode best.

right clicking the folder and you would have a box for permissions/security
