Norton Save And Restore 2.0 System Recovery CD image file

I have a valid copy of Norton Save & Restore 2.0 sitting on a computer that I can't get to boot up.  I downloaded this copy of Save and Restrore directly from Norton.  Unfortunately, I never created a System Recovery CD before this computer got to this state.  How can I obtain a copy of the System Recovery image file so that I can create the System Recovery CD (on a different PC of course) and try to restore one of the backups I made?

Re: Norton Save And Restore 2.0 System Recovery CD image file

Hi Timlowell,

Welcome to the forum. How long ago did you purchase S&R? I believe Symantec allows you to redownload your files for 60 days by accessing your Norton Account. Further, if you purhcase extended download protection I believe you can redownload files for at least a full year, if not two years.

Which version of OS do you have and 32 or 64 bit? What type of backup drive do you have? If you have a standard internal or external USB drive the default recovery CD will probably work for you. But if you have specialized backup configurations such as RAID, then a custom recovery CD is generally required.
