I just updated Norton Utilities 15 to v15.0.0.124 today and it still doesn't recognize that I have Firefox installed. As others have complained, this means there seems to be no way to keep NU from deleting localstore.rdf that contains all the details of the customizations I've made to Firefox. When is this issue going to be fixed? Fixing this issue doesn't seem to have a high priority with Symantec. If I don't use the "clean your disk" function, NU reports that my System Health is poor. It make me wonder what the point is in having NU installed on my system. Yes, there are ways to work around the issue (like saving a copy of the localstore.rdf file before "clean my disk", but I can help thinking that there may be other issues I haven't noticed yet that are just as bad related to this issue.

Probably the latest updated NU15 version was built before those Chome versions, and that's why the program do not recognise it.
Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 x64 Hungarian, Norton 360 v20.3.1.22, Norton Utilities 16

And the fix for it not recognizing FireFox is coming out when? I have yet to see a major update, or ANY update since I bought this thing, come out of Symantec.

I'm using Firefox 9.0.1. What version of Firefox will NU 15 recognize? I'm not sure with whom I'm most annoyed, Mozilla with their frequently (and non-optional) version upgrades (aside from necessary security updates and bug fixes) or Norton with their efforts to keep up to date with Firefox upgrades.

It willl only recognize FireFox Versions 5 and lower. We'll have to wait some more until the fix is fully tested by Symantec and released...probably in late December 2012. It take a long time for fixes and updated to be tested for compatibility.

Hi,
Dec 2012 seems like a long time to have to wait for a fix/update. They will likely release a new version of NIS/NAV before then.

Two things...
1) NIS/NAV is NOT Norton Utilities, and...
2) You do realize what might happen in December 2012?...according to the Mayans?
