When using the Disc Clean function, NU15 shows Firefox as being not Installed.
I'm using:
- Firefox 7.0.1
- NU15: Version: 15.0.0.122, Engine 3.0.0.854, Framework: 3.0.0.700. (fully updated).
- Windows 7 Home Premium (Service Pack 1 / fully updated).
- Win7 (64-bit) is on it's own SSD (OS)
- NU15 is on it's own SSD (Programs).
- All temporary, Temp/TMP and Archive files/folders are on a third standard HDD (10.000rpm).
- Both SSDs & the HDD are SATA3.
- The CPU is an AMD Phenom II x4 980 @ 3.7GHz.
- Have 8GB of memory.
What can I do to get NU15 to recognize Firefox?

This is interesting. While further reading about issues with NU15, the Norton Community thing presented with a Pop-Up window talking about it noticed I'm running NIS2011. It suggested I update to NIS2012. OK fine.
Downloading and executing the NIS updater has it present with saying it can't fins ANY Norton product on my computer.
Really?

Hi,
this is a known issue. Later Firefox versions are not recognized by NU15. Maybe an update will be released soon.

So basically, I just bought a broken product? O_o
This HAS to be addressed immediately. I was wondering why I lost all my tabs and saved cookies for trusted sites.

Hi,
The product isn't 'broken' it just isn't up-to-date. This is known and being addressed. When an update is released these issues should be addressed. Until then

Well, patience goes only so far. In today's Business and Marketing oriented world, the customer has the right to get a FULL refund if not satisfied with something. I've been dealing with the loss of saved tabs and important site settings since thsi problem.
My ONLY 2 options is either not to run NU 15.0 to clear browser history or get a refund.
Right now, I'm using another program to do something that NU doesn't do yet.

You are free to do as you feel best for you. The link to customer support is here: http://us.norton.com/support/contact/contact.jsp?p
They can help you if you purchased your software directly from Norton. If not, then it's between you and that vendor.
