I was wondering:  is Norton smartphone security also available for android? And so not, is norton making smartphone security available for android in the feature?

Android is a mobile operating system running on the Linux kernel, was initially developed by Google and later by the Open Handset Alliance(OHA). I don't think that Norton Smart Phone Security is currently compatible with Android. Please check the below link:

Yogesh is right. Currently Norton Smartphone Security supports only Windows Mobile and Symbian platforms.
