I can recover files from the full drive image; however, if I search for a file in the Files section it always comes back that no files can be found. This happens for any file I'm searching for. (Windows 7 computer with Norton from Comcast running).

I'm able to get the files from the image. The problem is that I run the image weekly, but I run the files every night. I would like to be able to recover a file from the 'recover my files' section.

I suggest running incremental images and scrapping File and Folder Backup all together. Look at this post for reasons why...

Thank you... you've confirmed my experience. I'm going to delete all my 'file and folder' data and reset my backups to image only. I've recovered files from the 'image' in the past and found it worked well. Since 'files and folder' seemed like the obvious tool, I've tried that over the years with no success in finding files. The way that ghost saves them in the strange file names makes it virtually impossible. I wonder why they keep this useless part of the program in an otherwise great product.
