Remapping Backup Destination

I have been experimenting with Ghost at home, I originally set up my backups to a shared folder on an external hard drive connected to my PC. I just bought a USB NAS adapter and now that original external drive used for backups is now attached to the NAS, the physical location of the backups hasn’t changed (on the same external drive as mentioned earlier) but the path of how to get there has changed. Is there a way to remap the backup destination in Ghost to the new path so it will recognize its past backups and recovery points?

Welcome Jason,

The short answer is yes.

You will need to edit the configuration for your backup. The Backup Destination screen should allow you to change the path from the current one to the one you want due to the hardware changes you've made. Keep us in the loop. We'll be here when you need us.
