I can't tell you what a relief it is to experience first hand the success of an image being restored to a new (larger) drive. (I wonder what Freud would say about that comment.  Sometimes a HD is just a HD. lol)

Thank you Dave, Red, and everyone for the help.  I'm going to run this new drive for a few weeks and make a separate image back-up (keeping the old image) just to make sure this upgrade is solid.  When I do the W7 upgrade I'm going to follow the sage advise from here and elsewhere and post an update.  Thanks for everything!
