I have installed, uninstalled, used Norton removal tool, reinstalled, checked permissions using the system security check tool and they are all set to allow. Have attempted to "repair" during a 2nd attempted installation, that failedand hung up as well.The error messges are as follows:
Error: Failed to have success running InstallVSSProvider function in MSIInstallVSSProvider Function. (during installation,then installation freezes)
error 'no mapping between account names names and security id's was done' (after having to use contrl alt del to start task manager to stop)
-Snapshot error %1.
--Error EBAB03F1: OS error 2147754774. (I went to online solution and one of the systems (Symantec SymSnap VSS Provider) was not even showing, the other 2 I turned on automatic and started) So I could not even complete the rest of the instructions offered since the instruction said to restart the VSS service.
Without help I have done everything I can think of to just get this program installed. ..Brand New Top End Dell Laptop computer with no problems what so ever till now.
