Utilities 15 and saving cookies

I just installed utilities 15 yesterday.  Seems that when I shut my computer down and restart it, all of my cookies in IE 8 are deleted.  I can log back into the sites and will stay there until I shut the computer down and turn it back on.  Then I have got to log into the personalized sites again.   I also have Norton 360 version 5

Please help

Re: Utilities 15 and saving cookies

jhacker,

New to this but I will try to help.  I know that when norton runs the cleanup utility it goes through your browsers and cleans up any miscellaneous data there as well.  You can check under that utility and see if there is a box for the cookies in I.E.  I believe they have there own separate sections you can click under (for each browser).  Hope this helps.

Hello, as BKnoppy was saying their are options to customize what some of the features do.

In NU15 the cookies option is located off the main screen under Optimize, click on Clean your Disks and then on the top bar of options click on Browsers.  At this screen you can have NU15 skip the entire section, skip a browser or simply skip an feature within each browser by un-ticking selected areas. Once done with making changes make sure to hit the Save button at the bottom left.

Take care.
